This course will give you HEAPS of ideas for how you can incorporate upper and lower body resistance band exercises into your classes. We also explain why using bands are a great option, and some of the ways you might need to adapt your exercises to cater specifically for older adults.

We include 168 resistance band exercises that are all safe and effective for older adults classes, for both men and women, beginners and experienced.

By the end of the course we hope that you:
* Understand why bands are a great alternative to weights in older adults classes
* Have lots of standing exercises that you can use in your classes
* Be ready to teach a cardio routine with bands
* Incorporate bands into your floor workouts
* Have fun with partner band exercises
* And know what to look out for when teaching good technique.

The course is 100% online with no video submissions required - assessment is an online multiple choice quiz.

We’ve included lots of videos with interviews, demonstrations, handouts showing you all the exercises, and workouts from us so you can see how it all works practically too.

Wow, this was a fantastic course. I would never have thought you could do so much with a theraband. The course combined theoretical knowledge, thorough notes and practical demonstration. This meant I got a complete understanding of the ways to incorporate bands into an exercise program. The exercise notes are printable making them a useable reference for future use. The format of the course was a real strength. Trudi clearly explained each resistance band exercise and Carol covered the practical side, demonstrating each exercise showing clear and precise movements. This meant that good technique and control was always a focus. So all in all a great course for instructors looking to widen their knowledge of how to effectively use resistance bands in their exercise programs.
