Introduction to Working with Older Adults

Do you work with older adults at the gym, teaching exercise classes, or running personal training sessions? Or do you want to start working with this wonderful group of people?

This online course gives you a comprehensive introduction to this age group, discussing the physical, physiological and psychological changes that they are facing, as well as lifestyle, family, social and financial changes. We give you interviews will real-life participants, and lots of practical examples for how you can adapt your classes and exercises to accommodate the needs and expectations of older adults.

Note: You must be a registered Group Exercise/Gym Instructor in order to attain Fitness Australia CECs.
