Meet the dynamic mother-daughter team behind Third Age Fitness, and your hosts for our Thrive Virtual Workshop, Carol and Trudi Edmeades—a duo dedicated to helping older adults discover the joy of movement and empowering fitness instructors to deliver engaging, effective classes every week.

Together, Carol and Trudi have built Third Age Fitness on the philosophy that age is no barrier to exercise or to living life to the fullest.     Mish Wright is a leading educator and advocate in women’s health and fitness, renowned for her expertise in pelvic floor health and exercise for older adults. With a background in teaching and a Master’s in Continence and Pelvic Health, Mish has developed and delivered evidence-based education to thousands of fitness professionals across Australia.

    She is the founder of the internationally recognised “Mishfit” program and is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical knowledge and practical application in group fitness settings. Mish’s engaging teaching style and commitment to empowering instructors make her a sought-after presenter in the field of functional, inclusive fitness for all ages.

  • CLAIRE CUNNEEN - Chair Yoga Therapist

    Based in Sydney, Claire Cunneen is an experienced yoga teacher with over 25 years in the fitness industry and more than a decade specialising in Chair Yoga. Holding a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and qualifications as a Yoga Therapist, Claire is dedicated to making yoga accessible to everyBODY, regardless of age or ability.

    She offers inclusive classes, workshops, private sessions, and teacher training, all with a focus on supporting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Claire’s warm and welcoming approach ensures everyone feels empowered and inspired to embrace yoga in a way that suits their unique needs.

    Rachel Pietsch is a highly sought-after vocal coach who has spent over 30 years helping hundreds of people—from singers and speakers to actors and authors—find and develop their true voice. With a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and extensive training in voice function and contemporary music, Rachel specialises in the mechanics of the voice, helping clients achieve ease, power, dynamic expression, and vocal longevity.

    Her teaching career spans classroom music, private coaching, and workshop facilitation, and she is known for her intuitive, supportive approach that brings out the best in every student. Rachel’s passion lies in helping others unlock confidence and discover their unique vocal potential.

  • KATE PERKINS - Cancer Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

    Kate Perkins is a specialist Occupational Therapist dedicated to cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema care, and the founder of Cancer Rehabilitation & Lymphatic Solutions and the Bounce Back From Breast Cancer online exercise program. With a passion for early intervention and holistic recovery, Kate helps cancer survivors regain strength and confidence through personalised, evidence-based exercise.

    As a respected educator and international speaker, she regularly shares her expertise with health and wellness professionals, equipping them with practical tools to support clients through all stages of cancer recovery.
