Strong Hands
21 days of hand exercises to improve grip strength
Do you find it hard to grab things? Is it hard to twist lids off jars and squeeze open pegs?
Did you know that a healthy strong grip is a key indicator for a healthy strong life?
People with a strong hand grip are less likely to have conditions like heart disease and osteoporosis. If you've got good grip strength you're also more likely to stay independent, and stay alive, for longer.
For older adults and seniors, strong and healthy hands are imperative for a strong and healthy life, so we've put together a series of exercises that you can do each day to build stronger, healthier hands.
Join Carol and Trudi as they work through 21 days of wrist, hand and finger exercises to build mobility, co-ordination and strength in those hands. They also keep it entertaining as Trudi asks Carol a series of questions about her childhood, favourite travel destinations, what drives her, family values, and lots more!
We include a handy checksheet so you can mark off each day that you complete the challenge. We've also got summary sheets with all the exercises that you can print off and stick on your fridge, or next to your bed, so you can keep doing the exercises even after the challenge is over.
Once you sign up you'll get an email each day. Simply open it up, click on the button to play your video, and join in the fun with Carol and Trudi.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Each day Carol will demonstrate an exercise designed to get the hands moving and stretching and working. Trudi will then ask a question and they see where the conversation takes them! Sometimes they get distracted and forget to exercise, but that's ok - we hope you keep on doing yours!
