Who is an older adult?
There is no one simple answer!
Older adults are an extremely diverse group of people - it's not a one size fits all situation! Every older adult has a unique story to tell, and has a unique collection of experiences that makes them who they are today.
Each month we highlight a different member and hear a little of their personal story, hear what motivates them to keep exercising as they get older, and learn about their philosophy on ageing and life in general.

Member Ruth
Ruth has been active all of her life, but felt she needed to add something different to her exercise regime. She started with our YouTube workouts, but was enjoying it so much she took out a membership to access the full range of workouts.

Age is really just a number for me - I am more afraid of not being able to do the things I want to do as I get older. Getting older is something that happens to all of us, and I know I'll embrace the process with a positive attitude ...

I have been retired from teaching now for seven years. Life is busy enough however, with family and community involvements. I play badminton twice a week, volunteer in two community groups, one with refugees and asylum seekers, the other in a community chat room at the Greensborough Plaza...
